I've been using an old version of DVD Shrink (I don't think it has been updated in the last few years?) and it has worked well.

However I think I may have found a problem with a disk, so I'd like to try an alternative program. I know that DVD Decrypter can extract by chapter point using IFO mode, but with DVD Shrink you can adjust the start and end frames by stepping forward or backward from the chapter points - it looks like it is stepping by I-frame.

I need to be able to adjust the start and end time in this way. What extraction program is able to do this apart from DVD Shrink?

Once decrypted, you can use VobBlanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm) to do precisely what you are looking for. Use the cut/prev feature. Guides on site.

Transferred to IFO/VOB Editors.
