Hi,
So my question is this.
If I would own a very large LCD tv-widescreen in the future (like a a few feet wide, covering half of my LR. wall)
Will 700 or 1400MB encodes (xvid and h264-format) be sufficient in resolution to enjoy quality on these Big screens?

I Have alot of DVD backups in XVID and a few in RMVB format.
Most of them are rips/copies I made from original DVD's I borrowed from friends (wich is legal btw.)
Some of them 700MB rips. Some 2CD-rips.
Whether you think it's legal or not, it's against the forum rules. See point number 6: http://forum.doom9.org/announcement.php?f=6

@ bananacreamandpeca
altering your thread after it has been pointed out to you that you have violated forum rules, usually results in a closed thread at best ... however given that your question is unrelated to the forum rule violation, i will let it slide this time.
please be more respectful of the forum in future.
thanks

Instead of just answering the questing or giving suggestions I get preached to.
Yeah, that is a really efficient way of thinking
