Hi!
Propably the wrong place to post this question, but a lot of bright people reading the question might have a solution...
I'm trying to watch streaming video (from the Norwegian Broadcasting Coorporation - NRK). The problem is every time a clip starts the broadband connection is closed... Aprox 30 sec later the connection is back, but the clip refuses to play.
I'm using XP sp2 with both IE7 and FF2.0, and WMP 11.
The system is updated and well maintained (in ny opinion...).
An error message tells me there might be an problem with the firewall, but I have tried with the firewall turned off... I have checked my ISP, but no restrictions there...
Checking the URL of the clip tells me there is a MMS:// link enclosed in a regular HTTP://.
When I try loading the MMS:// link in VLC the clip plays fine, but I have to check the IPv6 box...
Why won't the clip play in ie. FF 2.0? Could there be a codec problem? I have a lot of different players installed...
