making mpeg files to dvd so i can burn them

Guys i am new to this. Iwant to burn my mpeg files to dvd so i can watch them on my tv I have tried to us nero and was unsucessful can anyone help this is driving me crazy been working on it for a week please help if you can any help would greatly be appreciated thanks tigerh

I have tried to us nero and was unsucessful When you run into a problem, you need to tell us exactly what happened. We can't read your mind.

(shot in the dark) are you burning *.mpg on a dvd (files)? if so, 3 things to know:

1. not all dvd players play *.mpg files
2. just cause it plays *.jpg & *.mp3, doesn't mean it plays *.mpg
3. dvd iso or uhf (note: nero not installed, based my a careless memory)
