VC-1 in WMNicenc.

This app looks great, but what is the profile for VC-1? Is it just WMV 9 advanced profile? Are there any specific settings I need to make to make it VC-1 complient? Also, what are the standard audio streams for VC-1? Do I have to use WMA 10 pro, or are there other codecs avalable for muxing into ASF(which I assume is the standard container format for VC-1).

Baseline, main, and advanced are all VC-1. However, there are pretty strong restrictions on HD-DVD/Bluray encodings, if you're targeting one of those. I'm not sure what other audio is alowed, but all variants of WMA3 audio are. I believe that includes the lossless codec.

It's Simple, Main and Advanced. The first two live in the WMV9 codec, the last one lives in the WMV9 Advanced Profile codec.
Audio isn't a part of the VC-1 spec, so you're free to use whatever you want, but Nic's encoder only implements DMO encoder support - so WMA is pretty much your only choice.

Not when you're using WMF SDK. However, you could probably do it through DirectShow. SolveigMM makes a DShow ASF muxer that can pretty much mux anything into ASF. I had XviD/AC3 in an ASF once, and it worked just fine.
