Question on ripping a game

Sorry, I don't know if this is where this belongs, but I have a question about a game. I lost my boot disk for Dawn of War and was trying to copy the disk from a friend, but I can't get it to copy all the way. All the disk is used for is starting the game up, then it can be taken out. Is there a way to rip and copy all of the files so I can play the game on my computer still? Thanks.

If you registered your game, you can probably get a replacement disk from them, in most cases for free.
