View Full Version : AutoGK Audio, wrong size/bitrate?

I decoded an audiostream from a AutoGK encoded video. I saw that it's small then it should be. After reencoding the original audio, I found that a 110 kbit/sec streams fitts the size. But AutoGK should use 128 kbit/sec.

Any ideas what's wrong there?

It will use whatever audio bitrate it deems appropriate unless you specify one under Advanced Options.

For audio in "Auto" mode see FAQ 2.3.

But I suppose ilhyfe means that (s)he gets 110 kbs even though 128 kbs was selected in "Advanced Settings". This seems to be typical for the present version of Lame - I've been getting values around 110-120 kbs all the time (with 128 kbs setting). So nothing to worry about. If audio quality is not good enough, just increase the bitrate.

Yeah that what he meant. I use 160 kbps now and the audiosize is fine. Strange anyway...
