I've used DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter before, but's its been a few months and I can't quite recall how to do it.
I've made an ISO copy of Harry Potter 4 on my hard drive. I tried burning it to a DVD but get a "disc cannot be read" error when I try to play it on the TV DVD player. Am I forgetting a formatting step somewhere?

IMGBurn can do it, so can Nero or Roxio or a lot of others. Just choose 'burn image' or whatever the particular SW calls it.

I can burn the ISO just fine - my problem is, it won't play on a DVD player.
I was wondering if I'd forgotten a step somewhere and needed to change the format somehow, or maybe Harry Potter 4 can't be backed up?

Hi!
Try playing the .ISO image file from your hard drive using VLC. If it's not playable by VLC, you've likely made an error when creating the .ISO image file...

I ran across the same problem. Was able to rip using Fab Decrytor, shrink it, and burn successfully as an ISO file. (I have been using this method for many, many burns.) But this time, my dvd will not play on the DVD player. VLC will not play my ISO file. (I burn at 4x speed with Verbatim disk.) I've been researching and reading many posts but got no where. Can anyone help me, please?
