Fully automated full colorization filter?

I have already explored two of Donald Graft's wonderful filters ("Colorize" and "Pseudocolor") and I'm wondering if a fully automated, full (multicolor) colorization filter exists for VirtualDub?

Do you mean to take a black and white video and have it automatically converted into a color video? Such a thing is absolutely impossible.

I think there are some tools though that can colorize a video with some input from you (marking up parts of the frames with the colors you want).

There's also shareware available to perform this on single images (.JPGs, .BMPs, etc.). Over the years, I've learned that the true definition of "impossible" is "I haven't figured out how to do it yet" ;>}
