I have some high quality, progressive dvds I want to convert to ntsc, but I don't know much about AVISynth scripting, except for undot, deen, fluxsmooth, etc.

Is it possible to convert pal to ntsc in dvd rebuilder? I have the pro version of dvd-rb and cce basic and procoder express.

Thanks!

PS: I know procoder can do the conversion, but the quality is subpar.

DVD-RB doesn't support NTSC<->PAL conversions. Btw, wrong forum ;)

I assumed that dvd-rb had a script editor that maybe I can just add a script to convert pal to ntsc.

Thanks, though.

Video conversion itself should be possible just the way AVIsynth is capable of doing this.
Though you would have to manually adjust subtitles to the new resolution.
Also the menus could be a problem for the same reason. Especially when the buttons use more then 480 lines.

If those issues are acceptable, you could give it a try. Otherwise, you should consider doing a new authoring from scratch.

DVD-RB does more than just encode the video. For the conversion to work, you need to process the audio as well as all the flags etc.
