If you've only downloaded the zip file of 1.0.5 Build 2, there's a few other programs you need to add/update to get it to work properly:

http://www.vcdimager.org/pub/vcdimager/.testing/vcdimager-0.7.12pre1.win32.zip

The first three is mentioned in the comments of the zipfile, but I had forgot to mention that you need the prerelease of vcdimager/vcdxbuild too. Sorry.

Without haveing downloaded the latest version, I'm led to believe that those of us still preferring to use i-Author can force it somewhere. Is that also in the instructions? if so, at the top, or in between certain lines.

To use I-Author, add/modify this line in dvd2svcd.ini

ForceIAuthorSupport=0

to

ForceIAuthorSupport=1
