Hi, for the very first time I got this warning:
ANGLE and/or INTERLEAVING is present.
-- WARNING: Selection of One Pass Encoding with
ANGLE/INTERLEAVING can result in incorrectly
formatted and/or out-of-specification streams.
Is this a liability? Because I'm really fond of 1 pass vbr encoding.

Btw what is interleaving in DVD?

Yes. There are some very strict limitations that must be used for angles, and those limitations can't be applied with 1-pass. It may appear to work, but then fail on a different player.

On most discs you're fine -- but when angles exist you'll get this warning if you're trying to use OPV.

Interleaving is where two different streams are mixed together -- kind of like when you shuffle a deck of cards. It can be used for multiple angles, but also for seamless branching.

But the problem of OPV is that in angle situation, all the angles have the same size. This situation donīt happen in seamless branching.
So itīs possible to work OPV seamless branching but not in multi-angle.
Iīm i right ? Iīve done some seamless branching movies in OPV and it has perfect.

If its seamless branching -- you're ok with OPV. The only real constraint there is limiting the maximum bitrate - and that's applied in OPV. The message doesn't prevent you from using OPV -- it just warns you.

Thanks, I'll stick to normal 2 pass settings when I see this warning. Just to be on the safe side.
