Need a program

Does anyone know of a program that does a bit to bit copy from CD to CD. If so, can you give me a heads up as to where to find a site with one on.

Move this to a more appropriate site if needed.

Hi!

You should be able to use NERO BurningROM as follows (Posted to another forum by someone else):

#1. If the Nero Wizard is on the screen, close it by clicking on the "close wizard" button. You should now be at the "New Compilation" screen.

Insert the original CD in your recorder
Choose the menu command File->CD Copy
Select the page Copy Options and uncheck the on the fly option. Select your CD recorder as input device and choose (for safety considerations) 1x as read speed.

#2. Click on "CD-Copy" in the column on the left.

#3. Now click on the "Burn" tab. Make sure the "Determine Maximum speed" and the "Simulation" boxes are not selected (no check marks in the boxes) and set your "Write Speed" to 1x or 2x..

#4. Click on the "Image" tab. Now select a drive location and a file name to copy the image to.

#5. Click on the "Read Option" tab and make sure these settings match.

A. Set the number of retries to 25, or highest allowable, if less.

B. Select the "Read media catalog number and ISRC" option.
NOTE: The "Read media catalog number and ISRC" option may already be chosen and cannot be altered.

C. Select the "Ignore illegal TOC type". This box should have a check mark.

D. Now look in the "Data Tracks" area. In this area choose the "Continue Copying" option.

E. Data Mode 1“: „Force Raw reading“ „Write uncorrected
In the "Data Mode 2" area, „Force Raw reading, select the "Force raw writing" option. Then select "Write Uncorrected".

F. In the "Audio tracks" area, select the "Ignore read errors" option "Read audio with subchannel“, "Ignore read errors“ and uncheck "Jitter correction".

#6. Now your ready to begin making the image. Place the Original CD into your CD burner and click on the "Copy CD" button. Once NERO has created the image file, the CD will eject.

#7. Place the blank disc in the burner. You will be asked if you would like to continue. Click on the Yes button. The new CD will automatically eject when finished.
