MPEG2 join

I have a problem
My Camcorder captures in MPEG2+AC3 5.1 format (mpg files)
It splits the video files at 2Gb

1- I tried Encore DVD 2 and for the joined segments, video is smooth, but audio clips at the junction point

2- I tried Womble MPEG DVD, and it leads to a shorter in time lenght video (59mn instead of about 1h 4mn original) and also sound clips at join point

Is there a way to join the segments from the camcorder so that audio is seamless?

Ups, after trying so many programs, videoredo plus did the job clean
Strange that all other software, including the pricy adobe are null

A last question, is there any workaround to export an adobe encore dvd project to a disk folder, that exceeds DVD9 boundaries? As Encore gives each time an error
