FILM to DVD

I could not find anything about how to copy 8MM, 16MM Film to a DVD. Anyone no any tricks and tools for this, besides send it off to Kodak?

Yes, this post taught me that it is going to be a tough job getting any quality from old film to DVD.
It is probably easier and cheaper in the long run, to have Kodak do it!!
