View Full Version : sticky a 'scripts collection'?

I poked around and didn't see anything quite like this: could we sticky a thread with people's favorite scripts for different situations? People post the scripts they use the most, with their own personal tweaks and such. I do look through various threads but it would be nice to see one stickied thread with a large variety of different scripts for different situations, see the different ways people tackle a problem.

Well you have the collection of scripts and functions on AVISynth.org, but something here as well might be nice...

A single thread to collect all useful scripts would be far too general to be very useful, I think.

But how about links instead then?
Like to links of people with "my popular scripts" blog, or similar :)

it could be structured in a similar way to warpenterprizes' site, but perhaps have subcategories for certain things.

there's a lot that can be done to video, but it tends to fall into pretty general categories quite nicely.

(note: i'm not volunteering to create such a catalogue right now... i'll have to make a library of my own scripts for work purposes first, and i'm not even looking forward to that :))

That's pretty much was I was looking for as well. I was thinking that...
1) A main interest is cleaning up VHS captures
2) Most VHS recordings have similar artefacts / issues.
3) I would find a sticky with a few scripts that address these "common" problems. Kind of like a starting point for me to work from.

I would love to see this as well. ;)

Every word. Several Times. Bookmarked. I would still like to copy & paste some predefined scripts. :sly:

there is a wonderful avisynth-wiki. This is the place to go! But it's down right now... some server problems.

Yeah, I'd like to see some of people's favorite scripts for different situations as opposed to generalized suggestions.
