Hi,
I tried DVD2SVCD to Rip and also tried DVD Decrypter. In both cases for a .VOB file, I am getting the error:

CIRC Unrecovered Error at a particular Sector (Fails to Read).

Is this a case of bad DVD section OR a File protection issue.

Anyways to get around this ?

Thanks,
Syed:thanks:

Hi!Is this a case of bad DVD section OR a File protection issue.Yes - It could actually be either a damaged/dirty DVD or the result of a copy protection scheme.

1) What is the Title and Region of the DVD?

2) Try cleaning the DVD

3) Try ripping your DVD(s) using the easy to use "RipIt4me" package (Incorporates RipIt4Me, DVD Decrypter, FixVTS, and DVD Shrink). You can download this excellent freeware from:

www.ripit4me.org

While you're at that site, read the excellent "how to" tutorial...

Title is: Da Vinci Code
Region: US (1)

I will try as you suggest.

The "RipIt4Me" package should handle that properly for you...
