Trying to interlace this AVI file (samples clips put into 1 file)

orig.avi (http://brad.n3.net/orig.avi)

I've tried various methods to interlace, Blend, Bob, Seperate Fields in AVIsynth and then using Deinterlace Smooth Filter in VDub (with and w/o "Alternate field order").

Blending seems to give the best results with little feedback but i'm still getting overlapped frames with source 29.976 fps.

one thing I was hoping to decimate, pulldown to 23.976 fps to try and get rid of at least some of these combined frames still but any method I know of and could find only takes the most common frame or 1 of a run of frames out to keep video smooth >_< not the combed frame i want gone.

Any input would be appreicated, and let me know if link breaks and I will update my IP address =)

*Ip Fixed*

Check out Cdeblend and Mrestore, perhaps?

Er, to put it lightly, I think you should wait until the DVD comes out. Even if it looks better than your average back of the theater cam rip, that smeared interlacing isn't going away without some heavy work.

Not to mention, y'know, forum rules and all.
