I encoded to XviD and LAME MP3 but WME refuses to open the file, WMCmd.vbs gives me error msg:

.Error occurred in transcoding: Error Code = 0xC00D002F

I have Koepi's XviD-1.1.2-01112006 installed

Can you open the .avi file in VirtualDub? Does it play back in WMP and GraphEdit?

Yes the XviD .avi file opens in VirtualDub and plays fine in WMP11 but WME doesn't open it. Havn't tried GraphEdit.

Anyway I just installed FFDShow and WME now accepts it, is this something to do with VideoForWindows and DirectShow? I now have Koepi's XviD and FFDShow installed at the same time, will they conflict with each other?
