Hi,
I'm kind of new to this DVD/Video creation stuff, but I've been saving video to my computer with my Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150 TV tuner for well over a year.
What I want to do is take various baseball games I've recorded off the TV tuner (ESPN, NESN, FOX, etc.) and video's I've recorded with my Digital Camcorder (MiniDV) saved to my computer and create DVD's with certain clips of baseball plays to show to my Little League players (I'm a 10 year baseball coach of 13-16 yr olds).
I can save baseball games from TV/Cable easy enough, but it seems like I need to buy a program like Cyberlink PowerDirector 5 Premium so I can cut the exact clips I want to use, save/record it in slow motion if I want, add my own voice overdub to explain the play, and them bring all the clips together into a DVD which moves from skill to skill as I want to create it, then burn a DVD disk to show the players via my laptop and either a TV monitor or a projector at a practice.
My WinTV-PVR came with uLead, but this progam doesn't seem to let me do what I want. It's OK for saving files off my harddrive as back-up or to free up disk space by putting things like pictures on it, but it doesn't seem to let me take clips from multiple files (TV video saved to HD or bought from MLB.com) and create my own sequence with some slow-mo and my voice explanations/overdubbing.
I'd love the great experience on this website to help point me in the right direction.
Please help, advise...
