sorry I know I shouldn't be doing this but I'm posting a subject that doesn't directly relate to GKnot but I didn't know where else to get it answered at the same time. It has to do with Virtual Dub and Nandub. In the guide it tells you to do it with Nandub and then after do it with Virtual Dub. Well when i do it with Virtual Dub, pt.1 of the video is good but extremely behind the audio and it's jumpy, not a steady video stream. Pt.2; the picture plays perfect but then this time there's absolutely no sound what-so-ever. But when I use Nandub everything turns out perfect even audio. I know your going to say well why not just use Nandub. Well that's why I"m here, is there any difference that I should know about between the two they basically seem to be the same program to me but it's just odd how the guide tells you to use Nandub first and then go on to use Virtual Dub later??

Thanks.

They are nearly the same. NanDub can handle VBR MP3 and AC3 Audio, VirtualDub not. This and the encoding method are the only differences between NanDub and VirtualDub. I think, thats it :)
