Hi!
I just read the following news about the new Pinnacle Studio Update:
http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/Home+Video/Studio+Family/Studio+Plus+version+10+Support/Download+Area/Drivers+-+Updates?mode=documents
One new feature of v10.7 is:
"HD DVD Authoring Pack – burn HD DVD-format on standard DVD media discs using standard DVD burners. Play in new HD DVD players (purchase required to activate this feature)"
So does this mean it is possible, to author HD DVDs (e.g. with the new Scenarist) and burn them on regular DVDs?
Just like we burned DVD-Structures to regular CDs ("mini DVDs") in former times?
Think about the possibilities, if this works. A short movie could be burned to a DVD+R DL (or it could be splitted), there would be no need for expensive HD DVD-burners or HD DVD-media.
