Want to convert this video
XVID 720x304 23.98fps
Size: 1633 MB(excluding audio)
to x264 using MeGUI. What quality will I be getting in 733 MB(Bitrate: 694kbit/s)? It says it's gonna take one & a half days. I want to have the best quality in 733 MB & time doesn't matter even if it's two days. So is there anything else to do or something not to do.

I had a doubt if copying the script from the log will give full info so I'm posting the images of MeGUI so that u guys can know the options I used. Didn't want to take a chance.

MeGui. I used HQ-Insane profile. Then changed the bitrate and number of passes in x264 configuration.

I believe you should turn deblocking off. I don't know why but I was advised never to turn this on.
RDO 2 is overkill if you are not encoding HDTV. Of course it won't spoil the video, it just takes a way longer to encode.

This is not a valid reason for recommending something :)

If you want the highest quality possible - your settings are fine. The only one I would change is resizing - unless the quality is too low you will probably be better with a higher res. It really depends on the source whether you should resize or not though.
Running three passes will also give you very little quality gain over two, I'd say stick with two.

If you find that the output quality seems to be very high, you can always add a little sharpening. If you find it's too low, you should look at using a custom matrix. Again, I can't say which way it will be - it depends on the complexity of the source.
