Last Divx player I got from TTG was a coby and wow did it suck.
But that was my fault for not researching - wasn't even "divx certified".

Personally I would not spend any of my money on an MPEG-4 compatible player that does not have some sort of track record...
If I were you I'd consider spending a little more money on a player, that's from a known manufacturer ;)

The site has 132 reviews and a quick search for 'divx' shows pretty good support, but the reviews seem to be jumbled and some may not be specifically about this product. Several mention the Karaoke function, which isn't listed in the specs.
I'll take a closer look at this player. I was looking at the Philips DVP-5960, which is basically the same as the 5140 but with HDMI and USB, but then I found out it only plays music/pictures from the USB, not movies. This player seems to support movies from the USB and card slot, which would save quite a few CD/DVD-RWs. EDIT: I may be wrong about the 5960 and usb movies. I was going by the manual but user reviews mention it working.
