Hi Folks,
I'm new to Video-Editing and De-/Encoding, so I have to ask you some questions.
According to a project at the university we have to adapt a video-stream to different bandwiths. This means, we do have any kind of video data (not defined yet) and, let's say 3, different networks, for example W-LAN, Bluetooth and GPRS. Our Decoder has to adapt the resolution, quality and frame rate of the video data.
First we have chosen x264, but then we found out that there is no real scalability-funtion in that codec.
Can anyone help us getting started with this? What codec is the one to use?
