Does anybody know of a video splitting software that knows how to split according to pauses in the video? For example, I have this long video file that was recorded from VHS and it contains several episodes with pauses between them (5 seconds of darkness and no sound), is there a software that could detect those pauses and split them accordingly so I wouldn't have to?

I know there is a program called Mp3DirectCut that can do this sort of thing for audio files only. You specify the threshold level in dB and the minimum duration and it will run through the audio looking for these pauses and splitting what it found to separate files.
