Strange off sync problem

Hello

Ive encoded this movie twice with the same result.

I make a WMV from an m2v- and an ac3-file.

The problem is that ~41 minutes in to the movie there's some kind of glitch and after that the sound is a like half a second (give or take some) before video.

How do I fix this? How do I know exactly how long the sync difference is?

I was thinking I could edit the ac3 and add some silence so that it all syncs up but then Id have to know exactly how long the sync difference is.

There's probably a glitch in the rip - each time you encoded it, did you use the same source? If so, check the original file for the glitch.
