Hi and welcome to the forum,

720*544 seems a PAL movie; if so, you won't (with AGK) get a NTSC movie :angry:

Now, if you really want to get 720*480 you can try to crop manually in height:
1/ do a preview
2/ open hidden options (CTRL-F9)
3/ in the .autocrop box:
- check tune autocrop parameters
- set threshold to zero (0)
- set force cropping to
* top -> 32
* bottom -> 32
4/ Ok and redo a preview to verify the cropping

You will have cropped 64 pixels (544-480=64/2=32) and your movie (4/3) will be truncated :devil:

If you've forced a width of 720 in Advanced options, it's going to create a file of 720 x 544 to keep the proper aspect. Under the Ctrl + F9 "hidden options" there is a setting to keep original aspect, just be sure to check the box for it as well. This will give you a 720 x 480 output without cropping video. Keep in mind that if you keep that original aspect, it will not play back with the correct aspect unless you change the DAR signaling.

That wouldn't necessarily indicate a PAL movie; in fact since he/she's trying to keep the original resolution of 720 x 480, doesn't that indicate an NTSC source? AutoGK is simply trying to create a correct 4:3 output.

Hi CWR03,

I never got that case so you may be (and I hope you are) right.

Next time I will ask for more details like the log. Bye.
