Ok, I've been messing with this program for awhile, and I can't seem to find separate control for video and audio bitrates. Can DVD Rebuilder reencode audio tracks, or just video tracks?
Thanks,

DVD Rebuilder can only reencode video, not audio.

In DVD Backups the reencoding of audio takes a lot of time and gives you very little in return. That's why it is not an option.
For example, suppose you have a stereo/surround sound AC3 track. It is typically encoded at 192Kbs. For a 2 hour feature the total space for the audio would be about 164MB. If you reencoded at 128Kbs to save space you'd get a noticable audio quality drop -- and only experience a savings of about 50MB. That would give you about 57Kbs to your video -- which is far less than enough to even make a detectable difference in quality.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I was basically looking for a way to stop the audio from recompressing, so now that I know it doesn't, I'm pretty happy. :)
