Hi all,
To use CCE SP2 or Not to use? That is the question...
How to config in DVD-RB?
Differences?
I use DVD-RB Pro 1.12.1 with CCE SP2 Trial version 1.00.00.10
Choosed CCE SP2 Trial (Beta Test) in DVD-RB, is that the proper way?
Run through one movie last night and it seems to me it went ok.
Comments?
Cheers!

Depends on whether you can afford it I suppose. CCE Basic is much better value.
How to config in DVD-RB?
Under "Settings" go to CCE Settings and click CCE SP2 Trial (Beta Test).
Differences?
Compared to what? CCE SP or CCE Basic? None that I can see other than it does more passes than Basic and depending on your hardware SP2 "may" be slightly faster than CCE SP and CCE Basic.

Yes

Yes it appears to work fine with DVD-RB. It doesn't appear to produce better quality compared to its siblings.
Download the trial versions of CCE SP and Basic and compare them.
IMO CCE Basic is excellent value.

What happens? Did you use the CCE SP2 installation program so the registry is updated?
CCE SP2 has been thoroughly tested by others with DVD Rebuilder and it works correctly.

ive tried SP2 1.00.00.04, 1.00.00.10 and 1.00.00.11 (grr, their version numbers are TOO long) and all worked fine with DVD-RB.
i personally just use CCE SP. i saw no advantages in SP2.

I thought perhaps it might be due to a change in SP2.
Version 1.00.00.06 Monday, September 4, 2006
Change
- Mark points specified at VBR bit allocation window are saved in ecl file.
(In the previous version, those are saved in vaf file.)
But if others are not having a problem, then I don't know what it could be.
