Everytime ive extract audio from my avi using goldwave, cce, virtualdub it keeps being out of sync with the mp2 video file i created with cce.
I noticed i get this warning when i open the avi file in virtualdub though..
[!] AVI: Variable bitrate (VBR) audio detected. VBR audio in AVI is
non-standard and you may encounter sync errors up to 7768ms when
attempting to extract WAV files or processing the audio in Direct Stream
Copy mode. Full Processing mode is recommended to decompress or recompress
the audio. (bitrate: 131.9 ± 17.4 kbps)
So i thought all i had to do is select direct stream/then extract wav from virtualdub then i used goldwave to have it make another wav file from that wav, but problem still persisted.
Is there another way for me to go about this.. thanks

that warning error is ridiculous, what good is compatibility if the movie if out-of-sync, i'd always chose "no", never notice anything unusual when watching cbr & vbr type videos

in v4.24, you can automatically drag & drop *.avi in goldwave without having demux the audio

i think there's also a difference between the Save Wav & Demux option (but that's just me)
