Sound And Picture Don't Match!!!

Why is it that the sound and pictures after completion on encoding are out of sync???
I seem to have about a 2 to 3 second difference between the two.
I have adjusted the offset in BBMPEG to zero, but this seems to have had no effect.
Has anyone any ideas, as i'm really stuck and seem to be wasting loads of cdr's.

wasting cd's...that shouldn't be the case at all. Use WinDVD or PowerDVD to view the bbmpeg_muxed.mpg to verify quality/synch, etc.
