Hi, guys, this is what I want to do

I want to edit a mpg video file to remove advertisements and save the file back in its format.
Basically I just want to mark in mark out some parts and save the file.

I am trying to download some apps, what I want to know is which app is the fastest at re-saving the mpg after cutting it.

I've heard from a friend of some app called vcr or mpg-vcr, am googling it right now.

I just want your opinion. I have a couple of dozen mpg files that I want to edit and I just want to find something that's fast, since I plan to do this in the future as well. ;)

Try Cuttermaran.

erm to use cutterman I'll have to separate the audio and video streams.
What I am looking for is an app that does this work but takes mpeg1 as input and works fast.

Any suggestion would be helpful, cutterman seems good but not what I'm looking for, thanks tho

Tested quite a few and VideoRedo (http://www.videoredo.com/) worked best for me.

try to find the old webflix pro by mediaware

still the best for mpg1, frame accurate cutting, no need kf
