Been out of VCD's since 2000-2002.
I've made plenty of them but now I want to pull the 352x288 (PAL) 44kHz streams back out and file them on my Hard Disk and possible onto a DVD - but as data storage...as to actually put them into DVD I'd have to upsample the audio to 48kHz....

Anyway - any simple proggies?

BTW Did a search for VCD and miraculously - got zero returns ...my how times change.

Hi!

1) Search instead for "VideoCD" (No space between "Video" and "CD")

2) On 6/23/03, you wrote:My 4GB of Mpg1 VCD Music video clips cant be Video_TS'd 'cause they're not in 48kHz audio and hence dont comply with DVD format.
I want to make a data DVD for playback on my DVD Setop Box.

Have you not been able to find an answer to your question in 3 1/2 years?

If I remember correctly, I believe one solution to your problem is to simply use "VCDEasy" to convert each VCD's "MPEG.DAT" file to pure MPEG-1 format (A very quick job, since it only strips/modifies the headers)...
