few newbie questions for you amigos

1. i only have about 6gig free on my hd so i can only store the files for one decrypted dvd at a time...but if a backup fails or i want to do two copies for eg, then why does it try and re-decrypt the decrypted files and not just go straight to burn?

2. i have tried to download a couple of suggested programs, i believe one was ripit4me, to enable me to burn sony dics such as layer cake and hitch, i cannot get this to work properly and need some guidance, if anyone has msn and wouldnt mind me adding them to help me through the setup then would be much appreciated

3. why can i not backup 24 season 4, the disks say copy protected, they will decrypt but fail on the burn, tried 3 times now and have never ever had prob before

1. See forum rule #6 - asking for help to make multiple copies of a disk does not fall under this forum's terms of Fair Use.

2. There is a very good tutorial on the RipIt4Me site that should solve any problems you may be having with that particular program.

3. Use RipIt4Me.

fair enough on the first question, phrasing it differently and probably more to the truth

when dvd shrink fails to burn, and i have the files stored still, why will it not let me burn another copy without going through the decrypt process again?

burn your porn on dvd and free some space, unless you mom can find them ;)
