Is it possible to put a long VCD on a DVD-R and have it play in the normal set top DVD players? I have a DVD-R drive and what to put all of my VCD's on one DVD-R, How would i go about doing it? What software or tools do I use? And would i have to record it in DVD/UDF format?? Please help thanks

oops.. I did not know that. But.. upsampling audio? aargh.. and the very last sentence on that page is revealing: is it worth all the trouble? no!

but btw.. you could make mpeg2 rips @ vcd resolution with higher bitrate (= higher quality).. won't take quite as much space per minute as DVD but you get more than just VCD quality out of it.
