I'm trying to create some dvd's with the pinnacle 700-usb system i have created the show but when i try to burn it to a dvd. it just stops and never burns. i can burn it to a vcd with no problem. I have a slimtype dvdrw sdw-431s drive in my laptop. Any clues on what might be the problem.
I'm new to this and not sure what to do.
Thank you
Sorry there might already be an answer here i didn't find one so i thougt i would ask.

Try a program that will compile your video so it's completely DVD-compliant, then save it as an .ISO file and burn it with ImgBurn. Assuming you're taking files created by your Pinnacle hardware and you're using ULead to edit it, don't try to burn with ULead.

ULead is just an example, which I cited because it comes packaged with some Pinnacle hardware, plus it's very easy to use. Before you get that far, though, it's easier and faster if you do your original transfer to DVD-compliant MPEG-2 format, so you won't have to re-encode the video before you burn it.

Try www.ulead.com.
