nearly every file i load into virtual dub 1.7.0, i get this message.

however, i am able to complete all tasks normally and encoding produces a file that works in all media players very well! i wonder why this message keeps appearing? its making me nervous as to whether something is really wrong, or its popping up for no reason.
i should note, i load the same files into virtualdub 1.6.16 and this error does not appear!

Hi!
It's important that you do as stated - "Please report this problem to the author"...

i did. no response yet. i was hoping someone here might know already, at least if its an actual error or just a bug in the error reporting and doesnt affect the performance at all.

Looks like you're not alone (http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act=ST&f=2&t=13240&)

It's probably caused by my gradation curves filter (or maybe another filter).
Do you have this filter in the plugins folder?
I'm going to release an updated version that should work without causing this problem as soon as I finished some testing.

@ nukesgoboom
Xvid v1.1.0 and v1.1.2 Final do not error for me. , but I can reproduce the error consistently with any of the 1.2.-127 dev builds (tried quite a few from Nov 2005 thru Nov 08 2006)

Info regrading the SSE state error:
My gradation curves filter was one cause of the SSE state error.
So anyone who was using the gradation curves filter in VirtualDub should go here:
http://members.chello.at/nagiller/vdub/index.html
and download the updated version (1.21 or beta) that does not cause the error any more.
