I did a prepare with Movie and Menus Only and one with Movie and Menus and Slideshow Extras. The Extras are about 800 MB, but the Reduction Level was 61.4% either way. How can that be?

Were any extras ripped? Some rippers have movie and menu only mode.

The reduction level shown is that before the blanking of the extras. You'll note that the status shows the line indicating it is blanking extras after that number. Following the blanking the program reports a resulting improvement percentage.
