Next Generation Real Producer

Hi karl_lillevold,

Is the next generation of Real Producer (Real Producer 12) going to support 60 FPS video? It doesn't seem that Real Producer 11 can support anything over 30 FPS.

Also, is there any beta testing that I could apply to be apart of? I have a lot of raw video game avi files that I would be happy to test with Real Video 11 and share the results.

Current and older Helix Producer can go up than 60FPS. If your bitrate is too low it might drop many frames.

Unfortunately, there is a silly bug in the framerate check in Producer 11 (w RealVideo 10). The highest supported framerate is 59.999.

There is currently no public information available regarding our next generation video codec.

Anyway, if you can, please try to keep me in mind if you ever have beta testing of Real Video 11. I would really like to help test the next generation video codec with 3D rendered graphics.
