Hi,

I have an AVI with embedded WMV and ac3 audio. I'm trying to extract the tracks so i can convert to .wmv for my xbox 360. I can extract the ac3 and re-encode as wma 5.1 OK, but i want to get the WMV out as a .wmv file so that i can remux using Windows Media Stream editor.

I've tried using avimux and yamb but the file that i extract is always an AVI. When i rename and try to open in WM stream editor it gives an error. The FourCC of the resultant file is WMV3.

Does any one have any suggestions?

Thanks!
Jason

hey zambelli,
thanks for the quick reply. when i try Solveig Multimedia ASF Muxer i get a "cannot build direct show graph" error. i've got the dll's installed that the prog says it needs. and i've got no idea what to do with the whole 'via graphedit' thing. can you give me any pointers?
