is www.doom9.org working (bring updated) ?
With much gratitude over the years (read: too poor to pay) I have been an avid follower of the home page www.doom9.org to see news and new software updates ... the page seems to be a tad static in my browser of late.

Is the owner subject to some pressure (legal or otherwise), or interest diminished maybe, do you reckon ?

Report doom9.org problems in the forum support board, with IP number handy (because www.doom9.org has MANY mirrors, whichever one you're being served up might be down). You can get it by using nslookup.
I just type in www.doom9.org ... last news update on that page is dated 16/10/2006, in my browser.

I went to it and it loaded straight away!!

Doom9 has been busy of late. OK. Doom9 is still the best !
Here's hoping for Doom9 to win several million at a lottery, so free time can be spent without pressures on keeping the news and analysis coming.

Make sure you include the "www." in the address bar. Just typing "doom9.org" won't work.

Here's hoping for Doom9 to win several million at a lottery, so free time can be spent without pressures on keeping the news and analysis coming.I would like at least the first part of this ;) The thing is, it's not a 24h job, but in between news and the forum, you end up spending at least 2h a day.. so if you have to work long or have a long commute (I'm lucky to be able to work from home rather often).. there's very little time left for other activities.

And as I'm typing this, some up-to-date news are on their way. Enjoy :)
