New release of Audacity

News from Audacity audio editor. The audacity team has posted a new beta release and a new stable release. See (and download) it at:

Its opensource and appart from cutting, denoising, normalizing, etc can easily change samplerate or even encode in flac format (mp3, mp2, ogg vorbis).

I thought I'ed heard that they were going to allow the importing of MIDI files in version 1.3 of Audacity, but I see no mention of it in their documentation.

Audacity can import and display MIDI files, but cannot play or edit them.
