Crashes when encoding starts

Everything works just fine until the CCE Encoding is supposed to start.

At first I get three error messeges that say the same thing: CCE Init failed or something like that. I then get a final error messege saying that that CCE_Video_Information_File.vaf could not be found in the DVD2SVCD\Movie folder(it doesnt exist anywhere else on the computer either). Why isnt this file created and what can I do to make it work?

I had this problem last week. It was the first time that it happened to me. I don't know if it was just coincidence, but my workaround to fix it at that time was:

unisntall DVD2SVCD, restart your computer, reinstall DVD2SVCD, restart your computer.

well, I have tried that(kinda). I have installed two different builds on and even tried it in two different os(win2k and win98) and got the same error. I really dont understand what could be causing it, hope someone knows.
