I can only extract mpeg1 audio file from mpeg2 file using dgindex How can I convert mpeg2 audio file into mp3 file? and I want to convert it during encoding if possible.

dbpoweramp can convert MP2 to MP3.
By the way, MP2 is not MPEG-2 audio, it's MPEG-1 Layer2 audio, where MP3 is MPEG-1 Layer3 audio.
