Error when opening DVD backup in PcgEdit

I ripped a backup of one of my DVDs via AnyDVD (latest version, 6082). Whenever I open the backup on my hard drive using PcgEdit 7.4 I get the following error:

"Warning: There are different commands in the various PCGs of the menu LUs of the VTST 1 domain.
This is somewhat unusual, and may cause problems with the 'Set Menu Type' and 'Copy LU Commands' functions."

I ran FixVTS on the backup and still receive this error. The backup appears to play correctly but I'm concerned just how serious this error may be and whether it will cause any problems during playback.

Any ideas?

Welcome to doom9 NLight95!

This is a warning, not an error. Different Language Units sometimes (in fact, more times than not) have different commands in them, which are associated with selecting menu, audio and subtitle languages.

Ignore it.

Note: You can remove unwanted language units. Position the cursor anywhere in an unwanted LU. From the menubar: Menu --> Remove LU.

Thanks for the welcome, blutach. I've been a registered user of RB-Pro for some time and supported it when it was still in beta. I previously went under the name of AqLumen on the board here but changed it because I just didn't like it. :p I haven't been active here all that much because I've been trying to learn as much as I can on my own, but I still get stumped!

I typically check my compilations/backups with PcgEdit before burning to DVD. This DVD had 8 different subtitle languages but only one audio track (AC3 2-ch English). Even before doing any editing I checked the source and it gave me the error.

Anyway, thanks for the tip. As always, you're a very helpful contributor to this and other forums, like CD Freaks. :thanks:
