Hi!

I'm looking for a way to make DVDRebuilder start the whole Backup Process not immediately but at a predefined time like at 6 O'clock at morning so that i can sleep quietly at night and still have my encoded Movies at 10 O'clock when I wake up or make DVDRebuilder wait until another Process Finishes so that I don't have to run these Process simultaneously.

Otherwise I usually have to start my Encodes when I go to sleep at night by hand an keep my PC running which is quite noisy.

Is it possible to start a backup job via command line or a batch file? Or in other words is there a tool that can "click" on the "BackUp" Button for me.

That would make it possible to use Third Party Programms to schedule the Rebuilder Projects.

I'll look into adding a "start at" time to the batch processor.

OK! That would be greate.
But don't you have an temporary solution?

Not really. There are lots of programs out there that start an application at a certain time. But that wouldn't start the "Backup" only the app.

Yes!

It would be helpful to have an option to start a rebuildind job via command line. The Third Party apps support such paramater based launch of applications.

Can Rebuilder also "wake up" a PC from sleep mode and then start the batch jobs. I dont know if thats achievable, but will be quite helpful.

No, but a lot of BIOS's have an option to turn on a PC at a certain time.

I have several PC's at work that shut down automaticly at 11:00 pm, then start up automaticly at 5:45 AM every morning.

Well thats known, you have lots of schedulers/tools to shutdown and WOL (wake on lan) used by your org brings it back.

I am talking about the "Sleep mode" of Windows!!!
