How can I insert a new audio band in a AVI file I have ? I have the audio channel in MP3 format.
I'd also like to know how can I extract one audio channel from one DVD and insert it into another DVD file.
Thanks in advance.

Inserting audio in an AVI file is an easy task. Just open VirtualDubMod, and make your choices under "Streams". You can either replace the original track, or add the new track (resulting in a 2-track AVI, you need a special player like ZoomPlayer to be able to switch between them).
As for the DVD, it gets much more complicated. If you can easily extract one audio track from the DVD (using SmartRipper for example), inserting it into another DVD requires DVD authoring software (like DVD Lab), and DVD authoring can be quite tough and time consuming...

Thank you both.

But Morgan is buggy. The sound plays twice as fast when I have mono tracks (don't know if they corrected this recently, since I didn't install Morgan for ages, Media Player is too rudimentary for me anyway...)

Here I agree with you Awatef.
I don't like the Morgan Stream Switcher (problems source), I use Bsplayer without problems with two audio streams.
