Post a smaller vob source...2 Meg is plenty big to test. The 33meg source you posted is to big for people with dialup that may be able to help you with anime.
BTW, DGIndex indicates the source is interlaced and NTSC.
Also, the movie has the bad jagged edge syndrome with obvious interlaced lines.
Good Luck,

OOh !! I never thought DVD's could have such a bad picture !! O_O
You've shocked me XD
The deinterlacing part is easy, just use linear-blend method (or whatever it's called in tdeint, I don't use it so I don't know). This will blur the picture vertically slightly and help reduce the jagged drawings problem.
The only problem, is that this seems to have been interlaced vertically (it hasn't, it's just the same artifact put the other way round :p). I managed to get rid of the lines using vdubs filters called : 'general convolution 3D 1.1' (by gunnar thalin), and warpsharp ^^
Grab what I managed to do with it here : http://xss.xas.free.fr/loveless-dz666.avi (xvid+ac3)
Here's how I setup vdub :

Here's a pack with the 2 vdubfilters and the vcf processing script: http://xss.xas.free.fr/loveless-filtering.zip
I'm trying to do the same thing with avisynth right now.
