Remote fun (There's a prerelease inside)

Can i use dvd2svcd then swich users in xp (leaving the user who started dvd2svcd still logged in) ?
i tryed using remote desktop on my "server" pc in the basment to run dvd2svcd that way i dont have to go down there. But i got a few errors but then everybody is having problems with 1.0.4 anyhow.

had the same exact idea
works fine for like the cce stage so that my mom doesnt accidently close it, but i dont believe that the dvd2svcd prog can send keystrokes to a non-active session. the user sessions are not quite designed to function as completely separate virtual environments. too bad... :(

if everything was run by command-line, etc, i believe we would be able to do this but i dont think sending the keystrokes wors. if anyone has different results then please post

Good bloody news. In the next release "Fast User Switching" in XP will be supported. I'm just that gooooood ;)

Not only that, but you can use your computer all the time when doing a conversion. No more keystokes is being sent to any of the programs.

hehe you arn't just goooood you are God.. can't wait for this next release.. its hard to stay off my computer while dvd2svcd is running.. was about to build another computer to do just encoding so i could use one to play on.. hehe

Unzip this into the DVD2SVCD folder, overwriting the existing program

http://212.88.77.140/bbMPEG v1.24 beta 18 (SemiCLI 1.0.0.2).zip
Unzip this into the DVD2SVCD\bbMPEG folder, overwriting all the existing programs

this awesome...now I'm sure questions will be likely. I was playing RTCW (http://www.activision.com/games/wolfenstein/home.html) for like 20+ hours and DVD2SVCD took like 50+ hours to complete, wtf?

Merry Christmas DVD2SVCD (and to all) and thanks for the present...I'm gonna have to unwrap it early me thinks.

3rd edit: Obviously I edited after DVD2SVCD commented...see I'm doing it again. I got two copies myself of RTCW for $34.99 at Circuit City only 5 left two days ago in all of San Diego at CC that is. CompUSA has them for $39.99.

No wonder, I made a mistake which meant that more than half of my exe and zip files on the webserver got deleted. They should be online again now. Except the old versions of dvd2svcd.

BTW, if you get a floating point error when CCE is about to start I suggest you download the above again.

smartripper already has command line support. However I don't know why it should be used in DVD2SVCD....
